Terms of Trading
- It is assumed that all water listed for sale is available in the seller's water account and can be transferred to the purchaser at time of approval by the Water Authority
- The seller is to pay a selling fee of 5.5% (inc GST) for Temporary Transfers and 4.4%(inc GST) for Permanent Transfers. No commission payable by buyer
- The buyer is to pay all transfer fees (State Water Transfer Fees are $50 + $0.50 per ML to a maximum of $150.00 per transfer, MIA Fees, when transfering water out of MIA is a $75 Application fee, CICL Fees, when transfering water into or out of CICL, $130 per farm, Lower Murray Water fee $60 per application)
- The money will be held in Water Exchange Australia Pty Ltd Trust Account on the vendors behalf until the water transfer is approved by the water authority, at which time money will be transferred to the vendor, if not approved money will be refunded.
- If you would like to purchase any of the listed parcels of water or list a parcel of water, please click on the Buy Water icon and complete the form online (or download and return by fax). Once your information is received we will promptly contact you to confirm your request and the availability of water
- If you would like to list water for sale on our website please click on the Sell Water icon and complete the form online (or download and return by fax). Once your information is received we will promptly contact you to confirm your request
